Jane has trained in fashion design and construction (RMIT), millinery (Richard Nylon, Louise Macdonald) and stage and costume design/construction, graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in 2010 with a Bachelor of Production.  In her final year of study at VCA she was awarded the Ron Rosanove Travel & Study Scholarship for and the Beleura John Tallis Design Award for design excellence. 

Following graduation Jane lived and worked in London, United Kingdom for a number of years, working at Kings College London and the International Growth Centre at London School of Economics and Political Science. During this time she was also the creative design director for SOOT Theatre Company in London and worked as a workroom assistant for Nazir Mazhar on AW2011 and SS2012 campaigns for London Fashion Week.   

Since returning to Naarm in 2012, she has pursued work in a range of sectors in communications and marketing, most significantly in the international development sector at AVI and recently with the 2018 Melbourne International Jazz Festival. Originally from Boort in rural Victoria, Jane is passionate about social justice and making art and cultural activities accessible to all members of the community and champions democratic access and opportunity so that everyone can experience the joy of performing arts. Jane regularly takes private clients for design comissions.
